
Glenda Jo Kempff, 74, passed away peacefully on October 15th, 2025.
Glenda was born to Glen & Helen Roten in Clark Nevada, and was the oldest of four children. She grew up in Tooele, Utah and graduated from Grantsville High School. Later married David E.G Kempff (later divorced). Glenda spent her adult years raising her four children, and enjoying her five grandchildren. She enjoyed watching movies, Diet Pepsi, and loved the Halloween season; Hocus Pocus was one of her favorite films. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and loved ones. Her warm smile, listening ear, and easy laughter will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Helen Roten, and her brother Gary Roten. She is survived by her four children, Brandon (Marlene) Kempff, Bryan (Becky) Kempff, Brittany Kempff, and Brooke (Aaron) Fowler; her grandchildren, Cameron (Katie) Kempff, Madeline (Tyler) Rivers, Karsyn (CJ) Kinsey, Haely (Carly) Kempff, and Linkoln Fowler; her great-grandchildren, Violet, Annie, and Wyatt; and her siblings, Randy (Chris) Roten, and Sandy (Kelly) Dare.
A celebration of life open house will be held on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 at 11:00 am-1pm at Inspired Funeral Home in Salt Lake City (1001 E 11th Ave Salt Lake City, Utah 84103). Please join us by wearing purple or something bright in her honor.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to St Joseph’s Villa in recognition of their outstanding care and support (451 Bishop Federal Ln Salt Lake City, UT 84115).
