Simple cremation at Inspired is $650 plus the $157 Utah State cremation permit, so $807 before certified copies of the death certificate. That includes transfer from the place of death within 50 miles, refrigeration, the cremation, and a basic urn or a $50 urn credit. The Salt Lake County average for direct cremation is about $1,455.
A traditional funeral is $1,895, or $2,195 with a two-hour visitation and embalming. A graveside service is $1,795, or $1,995 with visitation. A traditional funeral followed by cremation is $2,195. Cemetery fees, casket and vault are separate, and every price is on our pricing page.
